Spring is here!

Yes, we've seen some snow lately, but it's normal. Normal means average. So quit your whining about Utah weather or move somewhere else and make this valley less populated and less polluted. (Harsh, I know.)

Yes I've quit the quest to become a TV weatherman. I am still a meteorologist- my college degree says so. Did you know I have the same amount of schooling as Dan Pope (in my opinion the highest quality weatherman for his weather knowledge and presentation in the intermountain west)? We even got the same degree from the same school. He just has YEARS of experience that I do not have. I had one goal in life since I was in High School. Now it's time to move on.

I am going to BYU in the fall and I am ecstatic. New adventures, new experiences, and a new school are what I need. :)

Over General Conference weekend I went to Idaho and spent time with extended family. It was FANTASTIC. This is Grandma and Aunt Kathryn getting ready to head back to the cars after a night at their cabin near Island Park.

Just thought I'd share another video from the past. :) (It took me FOREVER to figure out how to get it into Final Cut Pro...)
Hillcrest Jr. High was putting on Into the Woods Jr. my 9th grade year and I decided to try out. I played Jack! For my costume I wore lederhosen... The following video shows the two solos I had. :)

And another dorky time of life- 8th grade! Can you believe I won 8th Grade Speaker (Equivalent to 8th Grade President) with this video?

I can't believe it has been almost 10 years since I was a sophomore at Murray High School. I was 5'1" tall, 85lbs and still had a SAWEET high voice... I had a solo in the middle of the following Christmas song at the Murray High Choir Christmas Concert. It was pretty cool. :)

Welcome back to my blog! As you can see (if you've been here before) I have made a few changes. The background represents the current season. Meteorologically speaking, summer is over! Get ready for change.
I posted my first blog post on December 22, 2007. I blogged here and there, and then I stopped. I got busy. Since my last post from over a year ago, which I have now deleted, there have been some changes in my life.

1. I graduated from the University of Utah in May 2010 with a dual degree in Atmospheric Science and Mass Communication (TV Journalism).

Tis true folks! I just opened a blog and rightfully titled it, "DalPal the Weatherman." Obviously I have quite a ways to go to reach the potential of "Weatherman," but one day I will get there. I also picked this template because I don't have time to create one of my own- and I like the color blue. I also opened this blog so I could have links to some of the coolest people around.
